With familiar beats underneath otherworldly productions, Mount Kimbie are arguably responsible for the birth of the term "post-dubstep." Dominic Maker and Kai Campos formed Mount Kimbie while both were attending Southbank University in London. In early 2009 they released their debut EP, Maybes, via the Hotflush Recordings label. Later in the year a second EP, Sketch on Glass, appeared and was followed by remixes for the likes of the Big Pink, Foals, and the xx.
